Frederikke & Frederik

June 21, 2024

Amidst the magnificent architecture and scenic surroundings of Frederiksberg Castle, Frederikke and Frederik said 'I do' - a moment filled with both love and personal meaning. For the groom, it was not only a beautiful location, but also a place with deep roots in his life, as he himself was trained as an officer here. Returning to the castle, now as the groom, added an extra dimension of history and sentimentality to the day.

We had a fantastic experience with our photographer. Nice and friendly all the way through. He had a lot of great ideas for portraits and also took our ideas seriously. We could also tell he was having fun and it rubbed off on us. Our wedding photos turned out perfect and just in our style. We can only give our warmest recommendations to Nordic Wedding.

Frederikke & Frederik

Historic love

Towering majestically over Frederiksberg Gardens, Frederiksberg Castle provides a setting that is both romantic and historic. With its winding paths and views of the iconic castle church, it's like something out of a fairytale. And it is here, in the elegant halls and cobbled courtyard, that memories were made.

The ceremony in the castle church was both solemn and intimate, combining the grandeur of the castle with the couple's personal love story. Guests witnessed a day where tradition and romance went hand in hand. Afterwards, the beautiful surroundings of the castle provided the perfect stage for wedding photos, with the sun's rays reflecting off the golden details of the uniform and the shine of the bride's silk dress.

Frederiksberg Castle is not only a historical gem, but also a place where officers with a special connection have a unique opportunity to return and celebrate life's greatest moments. For this couple, the day was a living proof of how a place can beautifully connect past, present and future.
